Take some steps towards a more healthy lifestyle

In the video below, it struck me how many people were overweight. Obesity runs in my family. So does diabetes. I see my siblings inhaling sausage meats and bread loaded with butter. But they can barely walk down the porch steps at the end of the evening. I know I can only change my mind, not theirs. So, I take one day and one step at a time, and I say, “For today, I will not eat an animal friend. For today, I will do my best to make nutritional choices.” It's the little choices that turn into habits, and eventually lead to a more energetic, happy and aware life.

Feeling a physical and emotional change just as the folks in this video have is a great inspiration to do it for yourself. And knowing that the chocolate protein powder they are drinking is vegan give me pure joy.
