We all want a bit of chocolate from time to time and need proteins every day. I add hemp seeds to my smoothies for a natural protein, fiber, and omega-3 boost. 3 tablespoons has an impressive 2.5 grams of omega-3 fatty acids, 10 grams of protein, and 3 grams of fiber. It also has a good amount of manganese, magnesium, iron, zinc, B6 and more.
Enjoy this creamy hemp-chocolate vegan smoothie.
1 cup = 2.3 dl 1 tablespoon = 15 ml 1 teaspoon = 5 ml

- 2 cups almond milk
- 2 pitted large dates
- 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons hulled hemp seed
- 1 large peeled and frozen banana
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 large ice cubes
- First add the liquid then add the remaining ingredients.
- Blend until smooth.
